DLP can be used for more than finding your sensitive data where it is stored and scanning email and attachments. Just when management has gotten into a rhythm of scan, report, and maybe remediate, it may be time to reevaluate how the system can be used. Extensibility of DLP into more security-centric functions may help to breathe new life into this tool.
