Companies are facing spiralling pressures to protect all types of business data. Almost all businesses fall under a regulatory mandate to protect private or personal information and all worry about internal, confidential information falling into the wrong hands. The rise of endpoint devices such as laptops and PDAs, as well as consumer based technologies like portable media players and USB devices, has meant that a large percentage of an organisation’s critical business data is now stored outside of the safety of the corporate network. The fall out from a data breach can be disastrous for an organisation - damaged reputation, resulting lawsuits, loss of customers, lost shareholder confidence. But what are the top threats against endpoint devices? And how will they affect you as a CIO, CFO, CTO or IT Manager? In this presentation, Fred Börjesson from Check Point Software will demonstrate the biggest threats and the solutions you can use to combat them.
