One of the most prevalent security concerns for corporate IT managers is their end users’ utilization of the Web. Today’s Web, typically referred to as Web 2.0, is highly interactive, providing a very different experience for the Web user than what was available just a few years ago. This has created a set of conflicting business drivers within Enterprises – revenue generating departments want to use the new web as a new marketing vehicle, while IT managers want secure Internet access. Meeting these business objectives is not possible without a major overhaul of securing web access - traditional security measures are inadequate to meet the challenges of enabling Safe Web 2.0 access.
