This presentation will review the use of various visualization technologies in use by US-CERT in viewing flow data from the Einstein program. We will quickly cover the common types of flow visualization and the challenges faced in presenting large volumes of data visually. Finally, we will examine five applications in use by US-CERT, and the benefits and limitations of current methods for presenting flow data visually.
