An insight into Capital and Regional City use of public CCTV systems in the Asia Pacific. The use of open public network services in City and community CCTV Design is set to change how security is integrated in digital enabled economies. Such is the potential to marry digital CCTV surveillance systems with social media activity for enhanced tracking, such as the future integration with facial recognition systems. The presentation will present the business case for security to be digitally adapted to enhance community and organisation safety, from finding lost children through to responding more effectively to emergencies and serious crime.
