Abstract: What happens when hackers get bored and start looking at aircraft tracking systems? In short, nothing good. This talk will look at the NextGen Air traffic control system being installed on a vast majority of commercial airliners and airports. It involves unencrypted and unauthenticated radio broadcasts, unmanned autopilots and other WTF technologies. Come and learn why building stuff with safety in mind, does not mean it is secure and why you will probably want to walk home after this.
