The MasterCard have been issuing credit/debit cards since 2003 with PayPass technology. This is the new generation of these cards. This technology is a new one here in Hungary, even though they had knew about this technology has some vulnerabilities, they chose the easier and faster way to release the cards. The content of these cards are easily reachable and readable from a reasonable distance without any authentication or authorization for everybody who has a proper device. The presentation will tell about the PayPass in deep technological details, but even a usual customer going to have a picture about the PayPass own security.
