Often in the focus to secure sensitive data, an aspect that tends to get ignored is end-point security. Yet with the challenges of APT and BYOD, it is imperative that security of laptops, smartphones, and tablets should be fully addressed. Further, end-point security should also address the end-user and the necessity to build an organizational security culture. This talk looks at real-world examples of how critical lapses in end-point security have led to a complete compromise of organizational security frameworks, and also the mitigation techniques for the same.
