Ive always felt that getting past the first few hurdles of the networking world are the hardest to cross. The internet is full of basic networking tutorials that only go so far, starkly contrasted with intimidating documents covering large scale routing protocols and hardware that costs more than most homes. This presentation, nay Q&A session, seeks to fill in the middle ground. We will start with subnetting, move on to basic routing, and eventually end with some dynamic routing protocols. The point of this is to get the knowledge out into your hands, so Ill be answering questions from start to finish, as well as trying to convey how you can build a complex network in your own home, without breaking the bank.
