The talk consists of an overview of FOSS terms and concepts, why FOSS is important for musicians and producers, and then a lengthy live demo on the different applications available and how they work together. During the demo I create sounds, play music, and record and mix live in front of the audience. This gets people very excited. I then introduce community resources for learning more and allow time for a Q&A session.
