YOU ARE REQUIRED TO GET A TICKET AT SCRIPT-KITTY VILLAGE TO ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP (i.e. this session cannot be reserved with Sched) Tickets will be available Saturday at 1:30pm. ----- In this beginner-friendly class, you will use the cat-shaped Wi-Fi Nugget to learn how hackers attack wireless networks - and how to stop them! We will cover evil QR codes, extracting information like work and travel history from personal devices, Wi-Fi phishing attacks, and how to detect common hacking tools like Wi-Fi pineapples. Most importantly, you will learn how to use the Nugget to physically "foxhunt" for suspicious Wi-Fi devices (like cameras) and secure your own devices network against common Wi-Fi threats! What to bring: computer with Google Chrome, Wi-Fi Nugget if you already have one ----- The session is free to attend, but involves the use of hardware. Attendees can visit the ScriptKitty Village to buy compatible hardware and learn more. Seating is limited, with priority given to those with compatible hardware. You must have the proper "Village Session" ticket in order to attend.
