The proliferation of commercial spyware has created a need for continuous evolution among its vendors. The process for uncovering and analyzing spyware remains labor-intensive and heavily reliant on expert-driven forensic techniques. This presentation briefly highlights commercial spyware actors' rigorous cleanup of forensic artifacts which prevents meaningful analysis of mobile device infections.
